Description:
Clarithromycin is a semisynthetic macrolide anti-biotic. It derives from erythromycin.
Clarithromycin will inhibit bacteria’s protein synthesis. This inhibits the translocation of aminoacyl transfer-RNA and prevents peptide chain elongation.
Clarithromycin is an antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections. For example the infections of includes strep throat, pneumonia, skin, H. pylori infection, and Lyme disease. Clarithromycin can be taken orally as a pill or liquid.
Developed in 1980. Clarithromycin is on the WHO's List of Essential Medicines, it is the most important medications needed in a basic health system. Clarithromycin is available as a generic medication. Clarithromycin is made from erythromycin, and it have a chemical name 6-O-methylerythromycin.
Clarithromycin Powder API, Raw Material is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic, which is chemically related to erythromycin and azithromycin. Clarithromycin is effective against a wide variety of bacteria, such as Haemophilus influenzae, mycobacterium avium, Streptococcus pneumoniae, etc. Like all macrolide antibiotics, Clarithromycin Powder API, Raw Material will interfere bacteria’s ability to make proteins, thus the growth will be stopped. Due to the differences in the way proteins are made in bacteria and humans, Clarithromycin will not interfere with production of proteins in humans. Clarithromycin Powder API, Raw Material derived from Streptomyces bacteria. It will inhibit protein synthesis by bacteria at the 50S ribosome. They are characterized by a macrocyclic ring (a large ring molecule with many functional groups bonded to it) and a large lactone ring in the molecular structure. Clarithromycin is usually used to produce medicines which is indicated for tract, skin, and genitourinary infections.
Clarithromycin Inhibits Myometrial Contractions in Isolated Human Myometrium Independent of Stimulus.
Classification:
Clarithromycin Powder API, Raw Material will be classified as Antibacterial, Antibiotic, Anti-infective Agent, Gastrointestinal Agent, Macrolide.
As a professional China Clarithromycin Powder API, Raw Material supplier and Manufacturer in China, FENGCHEN GROUP CO., LTD has been supplying and exporting Clarithromycin Powder API, Raw Material from China in China for almost 10 years.
Side effects:
There may be nausea, vomiting, headaches, and diarrhea. Severe allergic reactions are very rare. It may cause harm if taken during pregnancy.
The mechanism of action of Clarithromycin:
Clarithromycin is an Inhibitor. It is in the macrolide class and works by stopping the making of protein by some bacteria.
The chemical classification of Clarithromycin is Macrolides.
Application:
Clarithromycin is used to treatment of pharyngitis and tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes, Acute otitis media, pneumonia and bronchitis caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Bronchitis and mycoplasma pneumonia caused by Haemophilus influenza and catarrh, skin and soft tissue infections caused by Staphylococcus and streptococcus.
-Clarithromycin can made into oral tablets or capsules. There are immediate-release form and an extended-release form.
-Clarithromycin may also be made into oral suspension.
