This standard cement allows the calibration of laboratory cement blainemeters.

CONDITIONING

Each test using less than 5 g, we decided to set up batches in boxes of 20 plastic bottles, equipped with an easy-to-use screw cap of 5 g of cement powder.

The certificate of analysis was carried out by the offices of ATILH Paris La Défense.

PARTICIPATION AND PERFORMANCE OF TESTS

An Interlaboratory test campaign is organized each year by Atil. In particular, the following are participating in the Cement Industry laboratories in France and in Europe, the laboratories of Cement Users and research and control centers in the field of construction materials.

This participation is compulsory for laboratories accredited by Cofrac for tests on cements. The tests are carried out according to standardized methods when they exist and according to current and traditional methods otherwise.

STATIC ANALYSIS

The elimination of outliers is performed at the 98% level by Student’s test. A reiteration is fixed at this threshold, in order to keep only the values ​​attached to the “Normal or Gaussian” distribution and entirely defined by the two parameters: mean and standard deviation. The coefficient of variation symbolized by “V” is the ratio between the standard deviation “” and the mean “X”.

SPECIFIC SURFACE AND SIZE

For the calibration of the Blaine device, follow the prescriptions of standard NF EN 196-6, in particular for any temperature corrections. To determine the volume of the packed layer, it is not essential to use the reference cement, but it must be used systematically:

• after 1000 tests;
• when using another type of manometric liquid, another type of filter paper, a new pressure gauge tube or a new perforated disc;
• in the event of systematic deviations from the secondary reference cement.
